2013 See: Explore: Pod tours from Hobo Village

Pod tours from Hobo Village
-
We now have sight-seeing tours leaving from a station next to Hobo Village.  This is the system by Yavanna Llanfair that I wrote about before:

Now the pods have another base station on my land in Heretocera (the atoll continent). You can see the atoll in the picture above. So far there is one tour of Heterocera leaving from my place and circling the central lagoon (yellow lines on the map). This tour takes about 35 minutes for the compete trip, but you can get off any time.
-
A second, longer tour, makes a brief stop at my place on its way to its home base in the Sansara snow fields. .
-
You can catch these tours at my place, next to Hobo Village.
-
If you are in Hobo Village, you can fly to the pod station or zoom in on it and double click to zip there.  The little cones present information about the tours.  The cone for the Heterocera tour shows when the next pod is expected to arrive.   A pod arrives, ready to start a new tour, about every 20 minutes.  To board one, right click on it and select Sit.  The pods will hold two people, so bring a friend.

To start the tour, sit in the pod and click it.

If you are at Hobo Village, you can see the elevated station just to the south. In fact, you can see if there is a pod waiting, especially if you zoom in on it.
-
You can also board any empty pod anywhere,  if you see an empty one passing by.  Fly reasonably close, and left-click  on it.
