Avatar Repertory Theater seeks voice actors (M & F)
We are currently performing in Second Life, every other Friday at 5pm Pacific (SLT) with usually a 4pm call that day, and usually one other rehearsal, scheduled depending on actor availability. Plans are in the works to expand to several of the OpenSim grids. We usually meet once a week, Sundays at 3PM Pacific (SLT). It we get addidtional actors interested in performing in OpenSim, we will consider performances in hypergrid connected grids.
Limited to 9 participants on a first come, first serve basis. Only 9 participants will be able to enter the Kitely world.
Avatar Repertory Theater is searching for male and female voice actors to join the longest-running live theater company in the metaverse!

You'll need:
- Some acting experience.
- A working knowledge of avatar control, Inventory, Appearance, using animations.
- Reasonable quality headphones and microphone (we will help you if you don't know what to get).

Information and instructions
Please email an MP3 audition recording to:

Your audition should consist of 60 seconds of contemporary dialog and 60 sec of Shakespeare. Comedic or dramatic or both is fine.
In the email please list other virtual world skills you have, and brief summary of your theater or voice experience. Or drop a notecard to MadameThespian Underhill iSL.
We pay, not much but some; right now it's US$10/show, by check or PayPal.
Avatar Repertory Theater is a project of New Media Arts Inc., a nonprofit organization tax exempt under IRC 501(c)(3). We gratefully accept donations, which may be tax deductible for you, depending on your location and circumstances.

How to handle a Hypergrid address
From any Hypergrid-enabled grid, paste the address into the navigation bar of Firestorm and press enter. Or paste it into the world map search bar of any viewer, search, and click Teleport when the destination is found. If it doesn't work, don't give up. Try again in a minutes. Sometimes the first try fails (probably times out). And try again a few hours later. Some hypergrid destinations are offline part of the day.
